Day Twenty-Three: Attitude determines altitude
Let’s do ourselves a favor right now and decide once and for all that we will have a GREAT attitude about exercising. It’s
been 23 days so far, so all the complaining should be in the past. Otherwise your altitude (how
high you can climb) will be effected.
I’ve chosen a fitting exercise. If you cannot do a pull up, use an assisted machine or simply jump to the top of the movement and lower yourself slowly. Have a new person in the gym help you.
Pull Ups- Grab the bar with a wide overhand grip. Pull body up until your chin is above the bar. Lower body until your arms and shoulders are fully extended. Repeat for desired repetitions.
TRAINING TIP: If full pull ups are too difficult to start with, you can use an assisted pull up machine, or a band for assistance like I mention above.
