An Update On John Riccio

hey clark and john!!! this story is just fantastic.. really inspires me... ive been looking for a way to keep me focused on just living life and loving it (like your previous video blogs with john & yourself)

i tried to email John, but his email doesnt work? could you repost that, thanks!!

We've been discussing CP during our University curricula... i'd love to interview john with some questions if at all possible (i wrote up a nice email to send to him..)

..there is no word that can describe how I feel right now . All I can say is the I have never seen someone as strong mentally as you are . After what you went through and still the positive attitude you have is just so amazing .. GOD BLESS YOU MY FRIEND and GIVE YOU ALL THE STRENGTH YOU NEED YOU are in my prayers . Thanks for sharing John's story. i work in a rehabilitation facility and there is a lot to be said about my amputee patients. Most of them do remarkably well once they learn to get around and accept their new body. Barring ongoing medical issues John will do well as a bilateral AKA (above knee amputation). He seems to have a fighting spirit going into it and that will take him far. I hope he gets good rehab. That can make a world of difference. Putting a plug in for my field, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physicians specialize in his type of challenges and he would be well served being seen by one.
