Happy Thanksgiving all. Enjoy that food, but most of all, don't forget to reflect on what you do have, especially thy health, and give thanks!!! We all have so much more than millions out there, so recognize ;-). Have a wonderful holiday!!!!
So you know everyone has there own opinion of what works best, what you should or should not do, etc. For a long time, I used to do my cardio 1st to get that mess out of the way. Then, when I had a trainer for the 1st time preparing me 1/2 way before my first show, he said to do it after because you need your glycogen to fuel your muscle and then when you hit the cardio, the only energy resource is fat for fuel because the glycogen has been utilized. So, I'm wondering what you think and what you do. I'm always open to learning and switching the routine up to get the best results.
You gotta try these. So easy and oh so good. I can't really take credit for the recipe because I learned about it while at a competition from one of the girls and if I knew her name, she'd get all the credit!!! Of course I added a twist to it. So, the night before, mix 4oz of oatmeal and 4 oz of egg-whites and leave in the refrigerator. That next morning, you can add an artificial sweetener (ex:stevia), cinnamon, vanilla extract, fruit (ex: small pieces of banana, blueberries, etc) and make in the pan with some spray butter.
I am new to the fitness/model competition world and one thing I've truly embraced after doing my first competition is if you want anything bad enough, you can have it!!! There is nothing in this world you can't have, but the question is, how bad do you want it? I've always worked out hard and ate pretty healthy, but when it comes to training for a competition, that's an entirely different level. Such strict dieting and working out daily and sometimes 2-a-days....eeeeeeh!!! That equals DISCIPLINE. So hard when you have a sweet tooth like mine!!!
