Medical Student.
Ashley Mayer is an expert in the field of health and fitness. Ashley graduated from The Ohio State University with a BS in Exercise Science. She went to graduate school for Physical Therapy. While there she made a decision to leave school for a short time to build her personal training business. Ashley has worked with people of all ages, including cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation, exercise physiology, stress testing, athletic performance and biomechanics, core performance training, diet and weight loss, autoimmune disorders, physical therapy and rehabilitation, acupuncture, physical medicine, botanical medicine, wholistic health, and massage. Ashley had the fortunate experience of working with Athletes' Performance in 2006. There Ashley trained the likes of Nomar Garciapara, Misty May, Mia Hamm, Chase Utley, John Wellbourne, and David Beckham. With Ashley's wealth of knowledge, she enrolled in Naturopathic Medical School. Currently Ashley is in her third year and will be receiving her Doctorate, NMD, in early 2010.
Ashley began her life of health and fitness at a very young age. She qualified for Nationals in swimming at 12 years of age. She went on to become a member of the USA National team, as well as swimming for Ohio State University. Ashley was also a very skilled soccer player, having an offer from OSU to play as well. Ashley did not stop there, after college she became highly ranked in Olympic distance triathlon, and during this period, she also qualified for Nationals in her very first NPC figure competition. Ashley has done modeling and represented several supplement companies, but realized the "false" sense of health in this arena.
Ashley understands the delicate balance of mind, body, and soul. She desires a unique quality within that begins with treating her body as her temple, her only vessel.
Ashley is like most men and women. She has her lulls, and when this happens, she RESTS. Fatigue and feeling unmotivated is your body's way of say, "time out, hold on a bit." Rest will always lead you back to motivation.

Ashley does not support supplements, unless they are physician grade and therapeutic quality; it will say this on the bottle. The FDA does not regualte what is in supplements and 99% of the time, unfortunately, the consumer is not getting therapeutic dosages.
Ashley's favorite exercises include plyometrics, swimming, .25 mile sprints x6, long distance (6ml) runs, and free weights. Ashley also loves rock climbing.
