I was recently at Walmart waiting to get through the line and picked up the current magazine, and was glancing through it. I just happened to find a several page spread of Clark himself.
Congrats Clark. Nice job.
Check it out people.
If anyone knows of any good online videos of the process of testing oneself with a set of BF calipers, I would be appreciated.
I have been told a dozen different ways, places to pinch yourself. I have read that one should flex the muscle to not mistakenly be pinching the muscle. Then I have heard the opposite.
Pinch vertical, or horizontal. I am so confused....lol..
I am trying to keep tabs on this Hypothyroidism problem I have, and this is just another tool in my arsenal if I can get it figured out.
If I am correct, somebody has a birthday this weekend.
Hope you have a MOST FABULOUS day.
Happy Birthday Clark.
Still focused, and still have a lot of work to go, but it is a first show, and I am still having fun at it. I just wanted to share my current status with everyone. I know I need to bring up the legs, but something just don't want to grow.
Continue to have a great weekend everyone.

Looking for your opinion/advice.
I have been contemplating on pursuing a Personal Training Program here where I live. It is the only program available that I know of other then doing something online.
It is a 50 week course, m-th 8am-12pm. This will fit around my current work schedule just fine. It will dip into my gym time however. But as they say, you grow outside the gym, not in it.
Opinions vary, but I would love to hear what most of you think would be more beneficial. I tend to like the stairmaster for low intensity cardio. I have been thinking about stepping it up a notch or two. What do you think would be better ?
1. A weighted vest.
or
2. Ankle and wrist weights.
I have heard that some people don't like the ankle weights for reasons of not liking the weights around the joints. Just don't know how valid this is.
What are your thoughts ?
I like many, have a slight dilemma. I can't seem to shake that extra little fat from my abs. My diet is spot on, so that is not an issue. I have been doing cardio 5 days a week. 3 days of HIIT (usually a spin class) after weights, and 2 days low intensity on a stairmaster. If I was to add a couple of low intensity sessions in the evening do you think it would help? Or am I just going to be overdoing it, and possibly increase my caloric needs?
I walk by a rock climbing wall inside of Dick's Sporting Goods all the time, on my way to the golf shop to practice hitting being it is cold outside right now. But anyway, I keep looking up at it day in and day out, wondering to myself when I am going to attack it. I watch these little kids climb right up and hit that buzzer that is at the top (47foot). Each and every time an adult tries it, they usually give up at 1/2 to 3/4 the way up.
I have been able to look all over the internet to find information on muscle recovery after exercise. I have found that on average it takes from 24 hours on, depending on the intensity of the exercise, and the individual. What I am unable to find, is how long does it take for the tendons/ligaments/nervous system to recover after a strenuous exercise. Does it take less time ? Is it longer? What are your thoughts on this ?
Hope everyone is having a great weekend .
