Hard Work.
What does it mean to you? And how do you connect "hard work" to your goals and success rate at which you achieve those goals??
The past couple months since I have been in LA have been a roller coaster to say the least. I have dealt with some high highs, as well some low lows. I have been at the top of my game as well as the bottom. I have had some great successes, but along with them have come many failures.
However, two things that have been consistent since the move out here are:
1. Persistence and 2. Positivity
How is it JULY already?! I don't know about you, but time is FLYING! I cannot believe we are already half way through 2010! Seems like it was just yesterday that I sat down and wrote out a very long list of goals that I wanted to accomplish this year. Hopefully, you did the same thing. Goal Setting is the key to success. Truly. Without measurable goals, there is no way to accurately track progress and make sure you are continually moving in the right direction.

What does your sunday look like? Is it a rest day? Training day? A day to spend time with your family? Many people take sunday as a day of rest and recovery.
Me personally, I love training on Sundays. The gym is usually empty, giving me practically the entire place to myself. I used to use sunday as a rest day, until I realized it's one of the best days to train since not many others do. I do take a complete rest day, but usually place it mid week on a day that is filled with a jam packed schedule. It also helps aid in recovery between heavy training days.
" I look up to the sky and know the world is mine, I made it I made it"
Those lyrics have been blasting in my headphones these past few weeks as I had been preparing for the big move to Los Angeles. The excitement of having the world in front of me with nothing holding me back is something that I still cannot get over.
Last week I blogged about the letter "T" . If you missed it, make sure to check it out here

I discussed two of my favorite words that start with the letter "T" : Time and Tenacity
Tonight I'm back to talk about to of my other favorite words that start with the letter "T" : Training and Tabata.
When you set a goal for yourself, you have to truly want it and be ready to commit to it. You have to be willing to make sacrifices, put in hours of hard work, and be so focused on your goal that nothing is going to stand in your way from reaching it. Why do so many people set goals and then give up on them when they haven't seen results after only a couple weeks? Why do those same people also go after their goals with only 50 percent effort and expect to receive results?
