hey clark! hmm, suggestions on improving or changing the site? let me think of a few just off the top of my head.
1) get rid of the ads, for sure

2) use different colors? the one shade of blue is kind of monochromatic and simplistic? perhaps some moving images when you first arrive on screem, you know something with pop? nothing too annoying though, that's the thing, you want your site to be "classic and professional, but not too simple and boring and yet, you can go to far the other way, in that " too much bold colors and loud visuals, can make the site look bad too?

3) keep the links to other sites at the bottom of the page

4) create a message board? with topics ranging from fitness to other thoughts? not sure though if there is enough volume and/or traffic that this would be feasible?

i'm sure if you do some internet searching you can see what the "hottest and latest" in website design is going on currently.

personally though, i think the site needs just a bit of updating. as it is now, you have a unique site compared to other fitness professionals.
