Since moving to LA 4 weeks ago, my life has been crazy to say the least. My best friend told me I could write another book regarding only the events that have taken place since moving here. She's probably right, I could. I would be stretching the truth if I said everything since being here has gone perfectly according to the plan I had in my mind before the big move. But am I unhappy or discouraged in the least bit? Not by any means. This is what I thrive on. I thrive on being challenged. Whether that be in the gym, in other fitness related work, in the classroom, or in life in general. If everything was easy what would you feel when you reached a goal or accomplished something?
You learn the most about yourself when you are put in a tough situation and your character is tested. WIll you rise or fall? Sink or swim? Grind it out or give up?
Why not get outside of your comfort zone and push yourself to reach new heights? You are your only true limiting factor. I believe 90 percent of reaching any goal in life is mental. If you can believe it, you can achieve it. If you have a negative attitude or mindset, chances of reaching that goal are less than likely.
With a new month coming up, remind yourself of what you want to accomplish in the next four weeks time. Write out your goals and what it will take to get there. Justify yourself in July. Prove you can do it. Believe. Are you living up to the expectations you set for yourself, or simply letting the days pass by? I challenge you to create a personal acronym that is going to motivate you as soon as anything close to a negative thought comes across your mind. I created mine over a year ago and refer back to it often. What qualities and characteristics do you pride yourself on day in and day out in life? When you are feeling like you are mentally struggling and veering off your path to success, take a look at the acronym you should be creating as you are reading this. I have shared mine previously but will share it again:

Determination. Dedication. Motivation. Discipline. Drive.
What do you pride yourself on? What qualities would you like others to list off if they were to be asked about you as an individual? Hold yourself accountable. Come up with a list and Justify them by your actions in July.
