I wish all of you a happy and joyus holiday season. 2009 was a rough year for many as we all know. With that in mind I encourage each one of you, as I am, to really look at the many blessing you have in spite of whatever financial difficulty you may or may not have encountered this past year.
Not wanting to come off as cliche, but a new year is upon us and it gives us all a new opportunity to refine our lives, take account of what we do have and assess some realistic and meaningful goals. I truly believe, and actually hope, that the frivolous and materialistic goal setting of the past is left in the past.
I know that personally my goals this year will be to be selfless and do my best to reach out and help others, to think less of "what can I get" and more of "what can I give" or "how can I help"?
