Cardio B4 or After Training

After 23 years of bodybuilding and three years on the Ms. Olympia stage, I have done my share of cardio. I have even asked the same question...Cardio before or after training? Since weight training uses primarily carbohydrate for feul (glycogen stored in the muscles), I suggest to my clients that they do weights before cardio, when their muscles are strong, feuled, and fresh! Glycogen is muscle specific so imagine how it would feel to do a 30 minute jaunt on the Stair Master and then do a squat routine in the gym! I know my quads would be so low on fuel it would be like trying to win a Formula One race with the gas tank near empty!
