I'm leaving on a plane to Canada in about 7 hours. I'll be going with my girlfriend to visit her family there. I'm pretty excited because I've never visited that country and it'll be nice to take some partial time off (I'll actually be working part-time while I'm there).
However, I don't want to slip out of my fitness routine while I'm "kicking back". I don't anticipate sneaking out at dinner to hit up a gym, but I think I'll try to incorporate some body weight exercises and jogging on my normal gym days.
I really feel like I need to stay on top of my fitness during this trip, especially since I have a goal set for mid September: have a visible six-pack. I used this great worksheet to set the goal for myself and I really hope I can make it, though I'm a bit concerned I might have been too ambitious and not given myself enough time. Check out Clark's worksheet here.
If anyone has any ideas for quick workouts or stories of how they've stayed in shape while on vacation, I'd love to here them. I'll let you all know how things went when I get back!

I hope your trip...
....goes well!
Have fun Mike!
Gonna miss you while you are gone, but it's a well deserved vacation so enjoy the trip. Are you taking your VPS with you? They are perfect to travel with, just hang them on a tree or chin up bar and you have your gym. I know you'll get your 6 pack with some drive and focus, so just let me or Jamo know how we can help. Talk to you when you get back. All my best and be sure to eat good and drink plenty of water while flying.
