Preventative Maintenance

I just thought I would tell you Ladies about a scare I had a last week. My sister is 44yrs old and hasn't had a annual mamagram since she was 40. I had my first one at 40 and hadn't had one since either. Well they found something on my sister's test this time. She had to have a byopsy on Monday. I think this is pretty common but it was still scary. It ended up being nothing thank God but I was nervous all week. The day she had her byopsy her husband (who is a Dr.) was able to call and get the results of the mamogram I had the Friday before and it was clear!!!! Yeah!! I guess the point I'm trying to get to is we put our test off for too long. After you turn 40 (which most of you haven't done yet) your suppose to get one done each year! Better safe than sorry! If something is caught earlier than later, your chances are much better, so just get checked regulary so people (sisters,kids, mothers, husbands etc...) don't have to worry like I was.
